Men’s: 19Thirty Green Guilloché
BOVET is famous for its attention to detail even when it comes to the dials, and these guilloché dials are special, using a dial insert with a deep pattern, which is then coated with five layers of transparent lacquer, then polished to reveal the form in all its glory.
The result is a color-changing quality when the light hits the guilloché pattern. From one angle, this dial looks like a deep, dark green, but from another angle it looks almost emerald green. You can get lost in these colors just by turning the timepiece in your hand, admiring the dial as the light hits it.
This new guilloché dial timepiece is limited to 60 for the world, with the limited-edition number engraved on the Bovet bow.
The 19Thirty Collection is powered by an in-house manufacture movement, and stands out for its ease of use and emblematic Fleurier case, a true symbol of two centuries of watchmaking excellence. The ergonomic 42mm polished stainless-steel case provides optimal comfort no matter the size of the wearer's wrist, thanks to its slim profile (9.05mm).
In addition to clear and easily readable hours and minutes, this timepiece displays the seconds at 6 o'clock in a perfect echo of 19th-century pocket watches. At the 3 o’clock position is the power reserve indicator, highlighting the incredible and very useful seven days of power reserve with one single barrel. In fact, the brand has a history of impressive power reserves -- it holds the all-time record via a pocket watch produced at the dawn of the 20th century that had an amazing power reserve of 370 days.
The sapphire glass of the screw-down back lets collectors appreciate every detail of this finely finished manual-wind manufacture movement. The exhibition back is also a hallmark from the history of Maison BOVET: the BOVET brothers are famous for inventing the transparent back at the dawn of the 19th century.
