Arceau Petite Lune with diamonds

The Arceau watch created by Henri d’Origny in 1978 owes its name and design to an element from the world saddlery: a strategic part of the stirrup. Its classic, timeless and elegant aesthetic, together with its evocative equestrian connotations, make it one of the most emblematic models in the watch collections and entirely representative of the Hermès style.

This year, a new version is enriching the line of Arceau Manufacture watches. Introduced in a 38 mm gem-set version, the Arceau Petite Lune is equipped with a Hermès H1837 movement and a moon-phase model created by Dubois-Dépraz. Its natural white mother-of-pearl dial displays the moon phase against a blue backdrop and a rhodiumed décor between 10 and 11 o’clock. The date appears at 6 o’clock through a mother-of-pearl aperture. The transferred numerals retain the classic font of the original model: a gentle slope that follows the movement of the hands and appears to keep just ahead of time.

In keeping with the Hermès saddle-making expertise, this timepiece is teamed with an alligator strap available in several colours: ultraviolet, cloud white, indigo, red agate, ember, ficelle, storm blue or black, crafted in the in-house workshops using the saddle-stitching technique.
