Girard-Perregaux 1966, Perpetual Calendar

The La Chaux-de-Fonds Haute Horlogerie Manufacture unveils a Perpetual Calendar as part of its iconic Girard-Perregaux 1966 collection. The new addition fits perfectly into the Manufacture's long tradition of expertise, paying tribute through this collection to the 1960s when the technical and timekeeping innovations developed by Girard-Perregaux were awarded the Neuchâtel Observatory Centenary Prize in 1966. The understated collection welcomes a very useful complication featuring the perpetual calendar with indicators of the date, day of the week month and leap. The highly complex mechanism of the perpetual calendar therefore counts 1461 days, or four years. A magnificent timepiece that embodies the Brand's expertise both in terms of technical performance and design.

Girard-Perregaux unveils a very useful complication developed and manufactured in-house. In addition to the distinctive and unique way of the functions' display making the information very easy to read,  another added-value is hidden in the crown. As a further touch of sophistication, the movement can be directly adjusted  by turning the crown in both directions and pushing the button at 8 o'clock.

The Manufacture celebrates this year its 225th anniversary by highlighting its tradition and perfect attention to detail. Naturally, the unique and very aesthetic dial comes with Girard-Perregaux's beautiful in house movement. The perfect finishes of the in-house GP 3300 calibre can be seen through the watch's transparent case-back.
