GRAN CELTICA ™ SupersportS is strongly inspired by the world of motorsports, expressing Charriol’s deep links with motor-racing; this is a world where House founder, Philippe Charriol, an emeritus racing driver, has enjoyed a long tradition of successes.
 
For this new dressier version of our sporting timepiece, the traditional black rubber strap with cable motif has been replaced by a steel bracelet with polished and matt links. The domed bezel, originally in a two-tone design, is now worked in polished and sun-brushed steel.
 
The watch expresses a thrilling spirit with its unique collection of racing motifs, seen in a silver guilloché dial sun-brushed dial, coloured indexes, a sub-dial inspired by the turbine of a Corvette engine and its overtones of a racing car wheel, thanks to the screw-down crown decorated with the Charriol brand insignia.
 
This larger model, in a statement 46mm size, is powered by an ETA Valjoux 7750 movement. The dial is protected by domed sapphire crystal glass and the transparent case back shows the inner mechanics of the timepiece, whereby an oscillating weight is personalized with twisted cables - the iconic emblem of the CHARRIOL brand.
