For The Dague we aimed to design a dial that was at once modern, classic, and innovative - a dial that could withstand the test of time and shifting trends.
So we envisioned a two-part modular dial design, offering a canvas for an array of inriguing variations so to result in a timepiece that harmoniously marries artistic flair with mechanical precision.
Our guilloché dial is meticulously crafted on a sterling silver base and showcases a central rice-grain guilloché pattern.
This hand-engraved element adds texture and depth to the watch face, further enhanced by a final "Black gold" galvanic bath.
The dial is completed with a one-piece sector-style applique. The extended size made the manufacturing process more complex, but the result is truly rewarding.
