The Jürgensen ONE Ref 5241 goes back to the very DNA of a watch and takes its inspiration from the age old rendering of time. Ellipses and circles delivering an innate balance in design perfectly establishing its very own unique identity among a world of high end luxury stainless steel watches. There are no straight lines to be found on the case and the tapered bracelet integrates perfectly with the angled edges continuing fully through to the case between the lugs. Unique to the Jürgensen ONE´s identity are also the duo shaped bracelet interlinks in graded sizes that complements and augments the organic nature of the overall design, and makes the watch unmistakable even from a distance.

The Jürgensen ONE is manufactured fully in medical grade 1.4441 stainless steel, benefitting from higher corrosion resistance, a harder surface and a nickel content of about half of 904L steel. The case measures 41 mm and has a thickness of 12,1 mm at bezel and 13,8 mm at center of domed crystal.

The case is a 7 piece assembled case with lugs, middle case, bezel and back all manufactured separately and the lugs then soldered on to the case in a truly high grade manufacturing process delivering a stunning profile, and a case waterproof to 120 meters. The Jürgensen ONE is secured on the wrist by a double butterfly synchro clasp that will only open when both pushers are activated at the same time.

The dial has been designed with two of Urban Jürgensen’s hallmark traits – the hour ring with a grenage textured surface, while the center is profiled with a nautically inspired grains d’orge relief connecting to Urban Jürgensen’s heritage in ship Chronometers for the Danish Royal Navy. The hands are open worked and hand finished, then riveted to center canons that are mirror polished in the traditions of the authentic craft of older days. The hands and hour markers are inlayed with blue-green Super Luminova®, and the minute and second hands are curved towards the dial at their tips.

Driving the Jürgensen ONE is a newly developed automatic movement based on the very robust UJ P4 architecture. It delivers 72 hours of autonomy with twin barrels, and beats at a frequency of 21.600 V/h – 3 Hz. It contains 34 jewels, and has an overall thickness of 6,1 mm and a diameter of 32 mm. The traversing balance bridge is secured by double screws, and the caliber is hand finished with beveled bridges, and sun burst radiating Geneva stripes centered from the balance. The rotor dynamics are optimized by a solid 22 ct. solid gold oscillating weight, and the rotor has the Urban Jürgensen crest inlayed in gold.
