The design is as carefully-honed as ever, rounded lines and different versions to set off every aspect of a distinctive style : the LA-02 is the new generation of ladies watches by Lornet – designed, manufactured, and assembled in France.

Lornet’s second collection is discreetly entitled LA-02. The timepiece, on offer for €5,800, features the same architecture as the LA-01, the original collection from the up-and-coming Besançon firm while adding a “feminine touch”: soft curves and rounder case, in a wholly original design, two reworked and refined brancard side pieces, an exclusive movement featuring extensive openwork, and Lornet’s distinguishing mark – a balance wheel at 12 o’clock.

“With this collection, we respond to the women growing demand for fine timepieces, far away from watches fully paved with diamonds: inaccessible for a large majority of women”, explains Anthony Simao, watchmaker and founder of Lornet. “The idea is to preserve the original DNA while adding finesse and voluptuousness, less masculine and aggressive than our first model. Moreover,used for the first time, Titanium G5 and rose gold brings lightness and feminity to this creation.

Few versions are already available, unveiled to the world for the first time at the Top Marques show in Monaco, where Lornet was proud to be flying the Made in France flag for mechanical watchmaking.

Watch-lovers are sure to be won over by the way each inner angle is highlighted, the interplay of light on the bridges, and the alternating polished and satin finishes. The rose gold tones give the LA-02 an unprecedented air of elegance, while titanium gray shades variations point up its sporty ethos. Lornet has also developed a whole range of leather straps dedicated to the LA-02: black, white or more chic, rose gold and deep purple.

This is the second collection to be unveiled by Lornet, just six months after the launch of the brand, further demonstrating its vitality – as well as that of the Franche-Comté watchmaking ecosystem that supports it. The fully-independent brand designs, manufactures, and assembles over 98% of all its components in the region.
