Description

The Maestro 3.0 Chronograph, Ref. GC3.0-TN-01, is an automatic chronograph timepiece in lightweight, mirror-polished Grade 5 titanium, with a royal blue sunburst dial and vulcanised rubber strap.

To keep and carry the Maison’s founder Mr. Gérald Charles Genta’s legacy of “artistic creativity, technical mastery” forward into the future, the Maestro 3.0 Chronograph is based on one of his original drawings, as well as the rubber strap that features the Clou de Paris motif, also a Mr. Gérald Charles Genta’s original design.

Thanks to the thickness of 11.5mm and the extremely light weight of 85 grams, the Gerald Charles timepiece is perfect to be worn on every occasion.

Notoriously known as highly resistant material, the titanium is harder to manipulate into complex forms than stainless steel, and even harder to obtain a perfect mirror-polished finishing, the Maison succeeded in delivering the iconic Maestro’s irregular shape in Grade 5 titanium. The Maestro case is the Maison Gerald Charles signature case, whose shape is the result of a square and an octagon with the “smile” at 6 o’clock. It is based on Mr. Gérald Charles Genta original drawing, who took inspiration from Francesco Borromini’s 17th century architecture and was introduced for the first time in 2006. The Maestro 3.0 Chronograph pushers are unique, as they remind of the shape of the Maestro case, remaining extremely smooth and functional.

The watch is powered by the GCA 3022/12 Manufacture automatic chronograph caliber, 6.07mm thick, developed in partnership with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier. It beats at 4 Hz and has a power reserve of 42 hours thanks to its twin-barrelled system. Its rotor oscillates on ceramic ball bearings and it is decorated with the Gerald Charles “honeycomb” pattern. The hand-finished movement, visible through a sapphire crystal case back, meets the technical and aesthetic criteria of the Qualité Fleurier, thanks to the bridges finely decorated with colimaçon, Côtes de Genève and perlage finishes.

The sunburst dial in royal blue colour is characterized by its three applied, polished counters at 3, 6 and 9, respectively displaying the running seconds, chronograph hours and chronograph minutes. The round-tipped hands and applied hour markers are all filled with Super-LumiNova® for low-light legibility.

Thanks to its screw-down crown, with the Clou de Paris motif to ensure a strong grip, the Maestro 3.0 Chronograph is water-resistant to 10 ATM (100 metres).

This elegant and sporty timepiece is a perfect watch that can be worn on every occasion.
