Movado Master™, a dynamic watch design boldly rooted in the strong industrial and architectural expressions of the Bauhaus movement, premiered to wide critical acclaim at Basel last year. For 2010, this pinnacle collection has been expanded with three heroic new automatic models. Making its debut is the powerful Movado Master Chronograph. Machined in solid stainless steel, its monumental, 45 mm tonneau-shaped case with architectural hinge-style lugs is detailed by two round pushers and a black-topped gear-edge crown. Incorporating Master's signature asymmetric circle-within-a-circle motif and button-style dot at 12, the meticulously detailed textured black chronograph dial features a rhodium-ringed black dot, three timing subdials, minute track, and round date display. Two exceptional new models join last year's highly successful Men's 44 mm automatic. The muscular case of the first, an on-trend limited production model, features a black PVD-finish which combines with the signature matte black asymmetric dial, black gold button-style dot at 12, and black strap to create a look of dark monochromatic drama. In the other, a special edition being produced in limited quantities, new 18K pink gold accents add a touch of polished elegance to the crown and gear-edge bezel of the angular stainless steel case, and the matte black dial with dot-grid textured center. All three new models are powered by fine Swiss automatic movements with a custom-designed black “M” rotor which is visible through an exhibition case-back on the two 44 mm watches. Each of these three new timepieces features a gear-edge black sapphire bezel, substantial, dot-textured black rubber strap with new Z-fold deployment buckle, and is water resistant to 30 ATM with a screw-down crown.
