Millesime Automatic Moon-Phase Midnight Blue

Following in the footsteps of the Small Seconds and Central Seconds, RAYMOND WEIL launches the Millesime Automatic Moon Phase, combining a visually sectorized, highly graphic dial – the collection’s hallmark – with the most poetic horological complication. Boasting a uniquely designed moon phase, this new timepiece blends vintage charm and sophistication.
While the moon phase is often associated with classic watches of a past age, RAYMOND WEIL gives it a millesime twist, breathing new life into this emblematic watchmaking function. In this case, the Moon is represented by a discreetly smiling human face, adding personality and character. It is accompanied by stars and a milky way, embedded with SuperLuminova®, offering a luminescent and friendly look in low-light conditions, while providing a reading of the moon that is both dynamic and intuitive.
The timepiece also embraces more traditional watchmaking codes, characterized by the contrast of colors on its 39.5mm rose gold PVD-coated steel case, with a thickness of 10.05mm, and its deep midnight blue dial. Located beneath the vintage-inspired sapphire crystal glass-box, the Millesime dial has been refined to the highest degree. The hour track is smooth, the minute track is snailed, and the central area is adorned with fine geometric reliefs and a discreet vertical brush. The bezel is decorated with a vertical satin-brush that contrasts wonderfully with the highly polished bevel and rounded lugs nearby. This juxtaposition of finishes reinforces the overall elegance of the timepiece, a characteristic that distinguishes the Millesime collection as special within its market.
