In the area of mechanical dive watches, there has been little innovation as of late. For that reason, in 2005 we started thinking about how we could make the ultimate dive watch. Our main objective was to completely avoid water-entry issues, devising a solution attacking the root of the problem rather than minimizing it. We had to create a dive watch without a single weak point, making water-entry or maintenance issues a thing of the past.

Pita Oceana combines two patented systems for a water-entry free watch:
• Pita-TSM (Time Setting Mechanism)
• Pita-RT (Remote Transmission)
By combining a new remontoire system, a self-shielded magnetic gear and new materials previously unused in watchmaking, we allow time setting from outside the case without any of the disadvantages.

High-performance features:
• Water resistant up to 5000 meters. Tested in Germany.
• No crown and no back cover to eliminate all water entry points within the case.
• No rubber gaskets or gas-filled case to forget about case maintenance.
• The only dive watch worldwide allowing underwater time setting.
• Bombed crystal with conic profile for a progressive case adjustment.
• Bezel with blocking device based on 6 locking points.
• Modular case construction made of 121 components.
• Star-shaped second hand featuring a chromatic depth meter.
• Rubber strap with bent tip for perfect fit.
• Totally customizable, by selecting among a broad range of materials, coatings and finishings.

Technical specifications:
• Pita-003 Movement (based on an ETA-267X heavily modified by our patented systems Pita-TSM and Pita-RT).
• 8.2mm thick rounded polycarbonate crystal.
• Modular case construction, allowing for future upgrades.
• Inverted rotary bezel with 120 positions for timer function.
• Numbered and limited series of 80 timepieces per year.
• Created, designed and personalized by us in Barcelona.
• Case dimensions: Ø43mm, height 21mm. Strap 22mm.
