Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon GMT
Power reserve: 237 h, 21600 vph
With the Tourbillon GMT, the Royal Oak line in 2010 is welcoming a new titanium model.
The all-of-a-piece case middle is made from titanium. The bezel is in black ceramics and the upper sapphire crystal is glareproofed on both sides, while the caseback sapphire crystal is glareproofed on one side. The 12-hour based GMT display appears at 3 o'clock, and the disc colour provides the am/pm indication. The required timezone is set by activating the pusher at 4 o'clock. Hand-wound Calibre 2913 ensures a 237-hour power reserve thanks to a twin barrel. The tourbillon positioned at 9 o'clock is equipped with an anodized aluminium bridge and a blackened balance. The 12-hour dual time-zone function consists of two discs enabling easy readoff of the time and incorporating the am/pm indication. Modern high-end finishing entirely in tune with the technical nature of this model, featuring a black anodized aluminium mainplate and bridges.
