Type 1G

 
The Ressence Type 1G is a modern take on the classical men’s watch. It combines a contemporary, sober and refined design with a unique animated time display system and a crownless case. The Type 1 features non-overlapping and flush mounted dials indicating hours, minutes, seconds and days of the week. The discs continually revolve, as does the whole dial itself. The face of the watch is ever changing in the same way that a human face is transformed by each passing emotion. The dial of the Type 1G is convex curved ( part of a sphere with a radius of 125mm) and has a silver guilloché finish executed by Fabergé because of its three dimensional aspect ( like for an egg ).  Time is indicated by embedded blued graphical hands.  The 42mm mono block titanium case is crownless.  Setting and winding the watch is obtained by turning the crystal back case.  
 
The display system has been invented developed and patented by Ressence and comprises 18 gears and 28 jewels (out of 53 jewels in total), three offset bi-axial satellites. By virtue of the convex curve of the dial, the angle of the satellite indications is 3° for the hours and 4.75° for the seconds and weekday.
